Billy A. Nowlin 80, passed away at Sunbridge Care Center in Huntington Beach, CA. on December 19th, 2002. He was born on March 10th, 1922 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Floyd W. and Bertha (Hager) Nowlin.Billy worked as a meter & instrument techinician for Philips Petroleum in Moore, Oklahoma for 40 years. He also served proudly in the U.S. Army Air Corp, WWII.He is survived by his sons, Billy Ray Nowlin of Huntington Beach, CA; Damon D. Nowlin and wife Lucinda of Huntington Beach, CA; sisters, Peggy Rakes of Irving, TX; Daisy Abston of Denton, Tx; Dorothy Muecke of Knoxville, TN; granddaughter Kimberly Lynn Goreham and husband Donny of Lakeside, CA; great grandchildren, Brynn Goreham (10) and Jacob Goreham (2) and many nieces and nephews across the country. He was preceded in by his wife of over 56 years, Helen Ione Nowlin, who passed away July 6th, 1998Graveside services will be held at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens on Monday, December 23rd, 2002 at 10:00 a.m with Rev. James Maynard officiating.Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home
