Gerald Gagnon 71, passed away on Sunday December 22, 2002 at his residence in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born on March 25, 1931 in Madawaska, Maine to Randolph and Alice "LaChance" Gagnon.In 1954 Gerald and Yvonne married at St. Mary's Church in Biddeford, Maine. They lived in New Britain, Connecticut for 5 years before moving to Redondo Beach, California working at various jobs. In 1961 Gerald worked at Mohole Project for Globle Marine Exploration and then as a ship to shore operator for Scripps Institute Missile Sight in Palmdale Mohave Desert for Consolidated American. Gerald worked a a spray painter for Hughes Helicopter in Culver City, California for 20 years until early retirement in 1986. He moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona 15 years ago from Redondo Beach, California. He traveled from his home here to his summer cottage at the lake where he enjoyed fishing from his dock or boat. He enjoyed RVing across country visiting every state along the way by taking different routes. Also cruised the Panama Canal, Bahamas, Hawaii, Mexican Riviera, Nova Scotia and Alaska. He visited Australia and New Zeland with his wife of 48 years.Gerald is survived by his loving wife Yvonne Gagnon of Lake Havasu City, Arizona and brothers Paul Emile Gagnon of Biddeford, Maine, Leo Paul Gagnon and Real Gagnon of Old Orchard Beach, Maine and sister Alexandrine (Sandy) Burnham of Biddeford, Maine. A brother Alfred Marcel Gagnon preceded Gerald in .Gerald was a lifetime member of Rochambeau Club in Biddeford, Maine.Contributions can be made to Hospice of Havasu.Services will be held at a later date in Maine.Arrangements were made by the Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
