Obituary of Carl BROWN

Carl H. Brown, II, 62, passed away suddenly at home on Friday, December 27th. He was born November 8, 1940 in Lisbon Falls, Maine. He was the only child of Carl and Mildred (Sylvester) Brown.He was devoted to and survived by his wife of 23 years, Joan and leaves behind his stepdaughters: Dianne Cormier of Silver Spring, MD, Dorothy Cormier of Lake Havasu City and Debi Wilson of Prior Lake, MN. He was the loving father of Lynne Cooper and Carl Brown III of Maine. He was an adoring grandfather to Sarah and Steven Cooper, Brianna-Lyn Brown, Michael Callicoat and Jordan and Emily Wilson.He was employed at Windsor Square and enjoyed the time spent with his coworkers.Carl served his country in the US Air Force during the Cuban Missile Crisis, performing duties inclusive of Military Police Officer.Carl was an avid reader, especially of western and mysteries (Stephen King was a favorite). He enjoyed country music (Willie Nelson was a favorite), with a mix of a few classic rock favorites. He enjoyed puttering in the garage, working around the house and caring for his pets, Willie and Fuzzy.We feel the loss of a caring and generous man who left us far too soon. Carl was blessed with a heart of gold and a mischievous manner and will be forever missed.A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, January 2nd at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations made in his mane to the Western Humane Society.Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
