Cecil W. Whittaker 89, passed away at Prestige Assisted Living @ Smoketree in Lake Havasu City, AZ., on January 7th, 2003. He was born on July 3rd, 1913 in Toulon, IL; to Morrow and Nora (Cox) Whittaker.Cecil moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ., 3 years ago from Toulon, IL. He started coming to Lake Havasu City, AZ., in 1964, spending his winters here before permanenty settling here in 1999. Prior to moving to Prestige, he resided at Sherlock Homes iniums. He was a self employed farmer in Toulon, IL. and was also a flying farmer during the 1950's. He is survived by his sons, James Morrow Whittaker of Taylor, TX; Gary Joe Whittaker of Toulon, IL; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in by his wife of 60 years, Virginia Whittaker who passed away in 1995.Funeral Services will be held at Congregational Church of Toulon in Toulon, IL. on Saturday, January 18th, 2003 at 2:00 P.M.Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
