Obituary of William PFOUTZ

William Dean Pfoutz, 75, passed away January 20, 2003 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born to George & Gladys (Vaughn) Pfoutz on March 25, 1927 in Sandy Ridge, Pennsylvania.Bill moved to Lake Havasu 14 years ago from Covington, Virginia where he worked as a Technical Service Representative for Westvaco for 25 years.Bill was a member of his hometown Masonic Lodge and before retiring to Lake Havasu City, he was also very actively involved in both the Presbyterian church and the V.F.W. He was also a proud veteran in the US Navy during WWII.Mr. Pfoutz is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Helen Pfoutz of Lake Havasu; daughter, J.C. Peterson and her husband Steve of Lake Havasu; brother, Max A. Pfoutz and his family of Landrum, South Carolina; sister, Cherie F. Kotzin and her family of Falls Church, Virginia; grandson, Zach Peterson and his wife Melissa Knapp Peterson of El Dorado, Kansas; granddaughter Mackenzie Peterson of Lake Havasu and one great grandchild.He is preceded in by his daughter, Lezlie L. Pfoutz.In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to go to Hospice of Havasu or Havasu Meals on Wheels.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
