Catherine Elizabeth Davies, died Saturday, February 1, 2003 at the Havasu Regional Medical Center at the age of 87. She was born on November 17, 1915 in Jonesboro, Texas to Andrew and Flara Crow.After high school, she attended Texas Tech for one year. She moved to Lake Havasu five years ago from Lubbock, Texas, where she had been a member of the odist Church. She was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxillary.Surviving Catherine are a daughter, Elizabeth Mallory of Lake Havasu City; a son, Prentice Gerald Sharp of San Bernardino, California; a brother, Thomas Crow of Lovington, New Mexico; seven grandchildren, two of her granddaughters, reside in this area, Kathy Waynick of Lake Havasu and Debbie Franklin of Bullhead City; five great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren who affectionately called her "Grannie".She was preceded in by her husband of 56 years, Robert R. Davies, a daughter, Genevieve Illgen and two brothers, A.D. Crow and Edgar Crow.A memorial service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on Tuesday, February 4, at 3:00 PM with the Rev. Chad Garrison officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
