Riley Wilson Kennedy, 85, passed away February 8, 2003 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born to Fredrick & Addie (Gorman) Kennedy on October 10, 1917 in Centerville, Kansas.Riley moved to Lake Havasu 9 months ago from College Place, Washington. He worked as a carpenter for 65 years, 14 1/2 years were with General Services Administration in Walla Walla, Washington.Riley was a proud veteran in the US Navy during WWII. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.He is survived by his loving wife, Ethel L. Kennedy of Lake Havasu; step-son, Gary Otis Evans of Republic, Washington; daughter, Diana Schreindl of Walla Walla, Washington; step-daughter, Gloria Post of Lake Havasu; sisters, Wilmetta J. Russel and Virginia Crabtree, both of Clackamas, Oregon; grandchildren, Eric, Sara, Ryan, David, Paul, Mark and Leah; great grandchildren, Reese, Heather, Tanner and Amber.A visitation will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2003 at 10:00 AM with the funeral services following at 11:00 AM at the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Pastor Rocky Gale will be officiating. Interment will be at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada on Thursday, February 13, 2003.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
