Obituary of J. BROWN

In loving memory of a beloved husband, wonderful Father, Father-in-law and Grandfather.James Barry Brown was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada in April, 1930. Barry passed away in peace after a five year battle with prostate cancer, Saturday, February 15th, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, LaVonne; son Christopher, his wife Sherry, grandson, Nicholas and granddaughters Jessica and Julie; daughter Cathy, her husband Bill and their two daughters Angela and Crystal; and daughter Carrie,her husband Russ and their two sons Kyle and Keith.Barry was known by all as a great teller of jokes with a heart bigger than Texas. He was an avid golfer and loved partying with friends and family. Never one to sit still, Barry and his loving wife LaVonne were often on the road in their motorhome traveling from state to state, up and down the coast, visiting family and playing golf. He also enjoyed traveling to Mexico and going on cruises. He believed in living life to the fullest.We miss his smiles. We miss his kisses. May he forever live in paradise.A celebration of Barry's life will be held on Saturday, March 1st, 2003 at 3:30 PM at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home followed by a gathering in his honor at the home of Wylie and Dee Strickland.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Barry's name to the American Cancer Society.Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
