Laura P. Meindl 90, passed away at Havasu Regional Medical Center on February 26th, 2003. She was born on June 26th, 1912 to George and Petronella (Smola) Meindl.Laura moved to Arizona 63 years ago. She has lived in Lake Havasu City, Az. for the past 35 years.She attended the University of Minneapolis and obtained a degree in nursing. She worked as a nurse for Riverside County Health Dept. in Blythe, CA. for 36 years. She retired from her career in 1978She is survived by by her sister Bernice Watland of Park Falls, WI; niece Vicky Weese and also many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in by her parents, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church on Friday, March 28th, 2003 at 1:00 PM with Father Jorge Gonzalez officiating.Inurnment will take place at Mountain View Cemetery in Kingman, Arizona.Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
