Obituary of Dorothea BURLINGAME

Dorothea M. Burlingame, 86, passed away peacefully March 5, 2003 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born to Leroy & Flora (Howe) Elliott on April 26, 1916 in Chewelah, Washington.Dorothea moved to Lake Havasu seven months ago and within that short period of time, she made lots of friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She really loved to travel, go fishing, reading and going to the casinos. Her daughter said she was always making plans for her next trip. After living in Washington all her life, she really loved it here in Arizona.Dorothea is survived by her loving family, daughter, Barbara Paxton and her husband Ken of Lake Havasu; son, Allen D. Burlingame and his wife Norma of Yakima, Washington; brother, Donald MacDonald and his wife Nellie of Ravensdale, Washington; niece, Lynn Braziel of Yakima, Washington; five grandchildren, Brenda Van Guse and her husband Joe of International Falls, Minnesota, Susan McVey also of International Falls, Minnesota; Kimberly Neyland and her husband Steven and Deneen Smith and her husband Richard all of Washington, Timothy Burlingame and his wife JoAnne of Yakima, Washington and nine great grandchildren. Dorothea will be especially missed by her close friend and companion "Button".Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
