Jerry Lee Jackson, 72, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at the home of her daughter, Carreen Bartholow in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.She was born at home in Waterville, Kansas on May 1, 1930. She was the daughter of Faye and Lloyd Wanamaker.She attended Compton High School and Compton Jr. College in California, and graduated in 1948. She married Kenneth Jackson on August 28, 1948. Two children were born from this union; Carreen Bartholow of Lake Havasu City, Arizona and John Jackson of Mukilteo, Washington.In 1942 she moved from Kansas with her family to Calfifornia. She worked for the phone company, bank, other various jobs and then retired from Sears in Buena Park, California in the late 1980's.She moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona in 1994 to live with and care for her mother. She was preceded in by her husband, Kenneth and parents, Lloyd and Faye Wanamaker.She is survived by her two children, Carreen Bartholow of Lake Havasu City, Arizona and son and daughter-in-law, John and Mindy Jackson of Mukilteo, Washington; grandchildren, Jason Bartholow of Anaheim, California, Brandi and husband Tommy Lomeli of Anaheim, California, Jed Jackson of Everett, Washington, Ryan Michelotti of Mukilteo, Washington, Ron Michelotti of Corona, California; brother and sister-in-law, Monte and Sandy Wanamaker of Lake Havasu City, Arizona and sister Deborah Simpson of Downey, California. She is also survived by her great-granddoggies, Mitzi, Winnie, Molly, Emily and Bruin and two guinea pigs, Chewy and Sweet Pea.Jerry was a very loving and giving person and will be sadly missed by her family.At Jerry's request there will be no public memorial service. After cremation, a private memorial will be held later in California by her loving family.In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that any donations be made to the Humane Society of your choice or to Hospice of Lake Havasu City, Arizona.The family offers their personal thanks and gratitude to Hospice and to all the caregivers in her final days.Arrangements were mde by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
