Obituary of Robert STARK

Robert William "Papa" Stark, 81, passed away peacefully Friday, April 25, 2003 at his home in Lake Havasu City with his wife and grandson by his side. He was born to Phyllis and Robert Stark on December 23, 1921 in Highland Park, California. He was a veteran of WWII CBI Theater. His outfit came ahead of Merrils Marauders to clear and protect the airfield in Burma and India.He retired from the poultry business in California and moved to Lake Havasu City with his wife 18 years ago. Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Evelyn "Momo" Stark; son-in-law, Mert Ramsey of Temple City, Calif.; three grandchildren, William Ramsey and his wife Kim of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., Lisa Gonzales and her husband Arthur of Temple City, Calif. And Cynthia Viola and her husband, George of Chino Hills, Calif.; great grandchildren, Savannah and Darienne Gonzales and Courtney, Michael and Daniela Viola and his loving pet Chihuahua, Pero.In honor of Papa's request there will be no services in Lake Havasu City.
