Louay Nicolas Awad, 39, passed away April 27, 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born to Nicola & Rose (Soufer) Awad on October 17, 1963 in Damascus, Syria.Louay moved to Lake Havasu 3 years ago from Charlotte, North Carolina. For the past 4 months he has worked at the Havasu Flea Market. For 10 years he enjoyed working as a chef.Louay is survived by his loving family, father, Nicola J. Awad; mother, Rose D. Awad; brothers, Dr. Nick Awad and his wife Hoody Snij Awad and Ziad Awad; sister, Nicole Arnouk and all Awad family and Christopher Awad.Visitation will be held, Friday, May 2 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Saturday, May 3 at 1:00 pm with Father Lawrence Gaudreau officiating. Interment will follow the services at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
