Wayne F. Benton 68, passed away on May 7th, 2003 at Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, Az. He was born March 25th, 1935 in Harrisburg, PA. Wayne moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 2 years ago from Murrieta, Ca. He was a lumber broker and the owner of RB Forest Products Co; for 7 years. He served proudly in the U.S. Army, Berlin Crisis. Wayne loved boating, fishing and golfing. He was one of the premier members of the London Bridge Golf Club in Lake Havasu City, Az; and was a 40 year member of Hoo Hoo International Lumber Fraternity.He is survived by his loving wife Rae A. Benton of Lake Havasu City, Az; who were married on June 2lst, 1958 in San Diego, CA; son Alan Wayne Benton of Virginia Beach, VA; daughter Kimberly Jean Fall of Palo Verdes, CA; mother Emily May Margerum of San Diego, CA; brothers Ronald W. Benton of N.Carolina; Raymond Gene Benton of San Diego, CA; and 6 grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at a later date in California.The family request donations be made in his name to the American Heart Assoc; C/O Desert Mountain Affiliate, 1280 S. Parker Rd., Denver, CO. 80231Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
