Obituary of James Robert Long

James Robert Long passed away on June 26, 2015 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 79. He was born on April 16, 1936 in Preston, Minnesota to the late Melvin and Leota Long.
James worked in the construction field most of his adult life. He was a dedicated and hard-working man. He retired to Lake Havasu City in 2006. He loved the lake and enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors.
He is survived by his son, Melvin Long (Butch) of Lake Havasu City, AZ; daughter, MaryJo Long of California; grandchildren, Bryan Long and Misty Davis; great-grandchildren, Paul Davis, Justin Davis, and Brett Richards, all of Lake Havasu City, Arizona. James was also expecting another great-grandchild, Arizona Marie Richards.
The family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Havasu in his honor.
