To Fr Thomas' family: I was both shocked and saddened to learn of Fr Thomas' death. He worked with me for two years in England when I was Parish Priest of St Martin de Porres in Luton, where he was loved for his kindness and unfailing good humour. May God give him the reward which he has earned. 'The virtuous man, though he die before his time, will find rest...He has sought to please God, so God has loved him...for grace and mercy await the chosen of the Lord.' To Fr. Thomas' family: Please accept our condolence on Fr. Thomas' death. We met at our parish in Luton, UK and he formed a great partnership with the Parish Priest at the time (Fr. Jonathan Hill). Fr. Thomas was a pleasure to be with and he always smiled. We will miss him a lot and the kids are shocked at his passing away at such a tender age. Death is a mystery and nobody has the answers to why it happens. But good must overcome it, just like Jesus Christ overcame death through His resurrection. Evil and misfortune come in many ways, but prayer always brings strength. What you need most is to hold on to God. May God's light shine in these dark moments you find yourself in and may His mercy restore you until you are strong again. Amen. Onyinye & Chidi Umeano + Family.

My deepest condolences to the Our Lady of the Lake Parish and the Family of Father Thomas in Africa. I will certainly cherish with fond memories the gentle and kind man that Father Thomas was during our stay in Lake Havasu City. I will not easily forget his acts of charity during a time when I most needed his comforting words. May Father Thomas rest in peace and may the Lord's face always shine upon him. Paul J.
