Virginia Rose Kootstra, 94, passed away on June 12, 2003 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born to Lawrence & Rose (Schimp) Warner on October 15, 1908 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.Virginia made Lake Havasu her home 12 years ago, moving here from Camarillo, Calif. She worked for the L.A. Water & Power company as an accountant for 25 years. Virginia is survived by her loving family, son, Robert Lake and his wife, Clara of Lake Havasu; granddaughters, Jeanette Joseph of Lake Havasu and Laura Scheffler of Rockland, Calif; niece, Dorothy Callaway; nephew Glen Callaway, five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.She is preceded in y by her husband, Harold who passed in November 1994.A visitation will be held Thursday, June 19 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM with the funeral services following at 1:00 at McCormick & Son Mortuary, 2500 Moulton Parkway, Laguna Hills, California. Interment will follow at the Ascension Cemetery in Lake Forest, California.The family respectfully requests donations to go to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86405.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
