Obituary of Virginia DEY

Virginia E. Dey, 89, completed her transition from the physical world to the spirit world Wednesday, June 18, 2003 at her residence in Lake Havasu City.She was a strong and capable woman with a pioneering spirit which she faithfully maintained throughout her entire lifetime. She loved to read and tell stories about how it was in the "good old days". She was spiritually conscious, quick witted and always eager to learn something new.Virginia was born April 12, 1914 in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Lake Havasu City from Detroit in the latter part of 1970 with her husband, George, after he retired from his career as a marine engineer.She was preceded in by her husband and her daughter, Barbara Richards of St. Clair Shores, Michigan. She is survived by her daughter, Marjorie Dey of Detroit, Michigan; son, Bud Dey of Lake Havasu City; grandsons, Russ Allgood and Timothy Dey; granddaughters, Deborah Dey and Nancy Radzwion and four great grandchildren.The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to Hospice of Havasu for their invaluable assistance and caring professional support which greatly eased her passing and requests that donations be made in her name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86405 in lieu of flowers or cards.Memorial services to be held at a later date.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
