George I. Burtless, 87, passed away at Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, AZ; on July 9th, 2003. He was born on February 13th, 1916 in Truxton, New York.George has lived in Arizona for 53 years and Lake Havasu City, AZ; for 7 years. He worked as an electrician for Reese Electric in Yuma, AZ; for 29 years and was a 50 year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.George is survived by his loving wife Flora Jane Burtless of Yuma, AZ; son Lewis Grant Burtless of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sister Gladys Crolick of Auburn, NY; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.He was preceded in by his sons, Edward Irving Burtless, George William Burtless and Cecil Eugene Burtless.Graveside services will be held at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Yuma, Arizona on Saturday, July 12th, 2003 at 2:00 P.M.Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
