Benjamin Winfield Allen, 83, passed away August 12, 2003 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born to Richard & Mary (Jones) Allen on February 23, 1920 in Leeland, Maryland.Benjamin made Lake Havasu his home 30 years ago, moving here from Denver, Colorado where he was a supervisor for the US Post Office for 30 years. He was also a proud veteran in the US Air Force during WWII.Mr. Allen is survived by his longtime companion, Virginia Hutson and his step daughter Rhonda Lucero of Arvada, Colorado.Benjamin will be dearly missed by all who knew him.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
