Paul Norman Davey passed away at his residence in Lake Havasu City, AZ. on September 2nd, 2003 at the age of 73, following a brief illness. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska on June 3rd 1930 to Clyde and Minnie Davey. At age 3, Paul and his family moved to Southern California where he lived for 58 years. While living in California, Paul worked as an architect for the Fluor Corp. in Irvine. Prior to begining his career as an architect, he served his country during the Korean Conflict, serving in the United States Air Force.Paul was an active member in Rotary for which he was president of his local chapter and also belonged to the Masonic Lodge both organizations in California. In Lake Havasu City, AZ. he was a member of the Elks and Eagles. Among the many things Paul enjoyed were boating, motocycling and golf.Paul is survived by his wife of 48 years, Gloria, sons Dan Davey and Lance Davey both of Lake Havasu City, AZ; brother Wayne Davey of Sun City, CA; grandsons Bryan and Chris and his friend and companion , his dog Georgina.In lieu of flowers, the Davey family requests that donations be made in his name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O. Box 597, Lake Havasu City, Az. 86405A celebration of Paul's life will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Saturday, September 20th, at 2:00 PM with Pastor Dale Ray officiating. A reception will be held immediately following the service at the families home.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
