Ray Milton Taylor Jr., 58, passed away September 9, 2003 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born on June 2, 1945 in Providence, Rhode Island.Mr. Taylor made Lake Havasu his home 26 years ago, moving here from Reno, Nevada. He served in Vietnam in 1968, receiving the Purple Heart, National Defense Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal with device. He was also a member of the V.F.W. Post #9401.Ray worked as an administrator for McCulloch Properties at the Lake Havasu Airport when it was located on the island.He is survived by his loving family, sons, Ray Milton Taylor III and his wife Arnetta of Oak Harbor, Washington and Jeffery Raymond Taylor; daughter Anna Marie Taiji and her husband Jeff of Coupeville, Washington and five grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at the V.F.W. Post #9401 in Lake Havasu City, Az. on Sunday, September 14th, 2003Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
