Anton Van Duynhoven, 86, passed away on September 5th, 2003 at his residence in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born on December 14th, 1916 in Volkel, The Netherlands.Anton moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 23 years ago from Deerfield, Illinois. Anton worked for Lake County Forest Preserve in Deerfield, IL. for 24 years as a groundskeeper.He is survived by his loving wife Mena Van Duynhoven of Lake Havasu City, AZ; son John Van Duynhoven of Illinois, daughter Mary Van Rooy and husband Tony of Lake Havasu City, AZ; brother Marinis and sister Drika both of The Netherlands; grandsons, Mike Van Rooy and wife Natalie, John Van Rooy and wife Allison; great grandchildren, Ashley, Jenna, Jacob and Will.The family request in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O. Box 597, Lake Havasu City, Arizona. 86405.Arrangements were entrusted by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
