Lillian Ellen Dingelstedt, 85, of Lake Havasu City, a member of the Grace Episcopal Church and a volunteer at the Senior Center, died Monday, September 22, 2003.She was born September 9, 1918, to Thomas and Catherine Cleaver in Indianapolis, Indiana. Prior to her move to Lake Havasu City, she had lived in Trenton, Florida after her retirement as a school bus driver in New York. Prior to driving a school bus she worked at the Sperry Rand Corporation and at Islip MacArthur Airport.An active participant in her community, Lillian taught Sunday school, was a Scout leader, involved in school organizations such as the PTA and Band Boosters. She enjoyed breeding and showing AKC German Shepherds. Lillian was also involved in the sports of Go-Kart and Jet Ski racing.She is survived by her two loving daughters, JoAnn Fischetti and her husband Rob of Lake Havasu and Debbie Johnston of Centereach, Long Island; three grandchildren, Chris (The Flying Fish) Fischetti of Lake Havasu City, Jean Ann and Jenifer Johnston, Long Island; and twin great granddaughters, Julia and Madison Jacobellis, also of Long Island, and nephew Frank Cleaver and his wife Nancy and their daughter Diane, from Escondido, California.Lillian will be dearly missed by her family and friends.A private ceremony will be held to honor her life.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
