Lila Rose Watson,97, passed away on September 23rd, 2003 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on July 16th, 1906 in Aurora, IL. Lila moved to Lake Havasu City, Az; 3 years ago from Woodland Park, CO. She worked for Heimdal,Morris & Lowry in Aurora, IL; as a medical receptionist. As a little , Lila and her family would spend their summer vacations in Colorado Springs listening to John Philip Sousa and his marching band. Lila was a casual horseback rider and golfer. She loved to play bridge and cards and was a member of the Lake Havasu Baptist Church.She is survived by her son James W. Halliday of Butler, AL, step-son Robert D. Watson of Woodland Park, CO; and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in by husbands Albert Halliday and Gordon "Kiddo" Watson.Visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Sunday, September 28th, 2003 from 6 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at Lake Havasu Baptist Church on Monday, September 29th, 2003 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mike Moorhead officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens, Lake Havasu City, AZ. Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
