Obituary of Virgil FRANCIS

Virgil Arthur Francis, 85, passed away on October 5th, 2003 at Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born on February 6th, 1918 in Clear Lake, Wisconsin.Virgil moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 30 years ago from Burbank, CA. He worked for the Department of Defense as a Quality Assurance Manager. He served proudly in the U.S. Navy WWII and was also a member of the V.F.W. Post 940l, American Legion Post 8l and the Eagles.He is survived by his daughter Shirley Wells and husband Stan of Lake Havasu City, AZ; daughter in law Gail Francis of Lake Havasu City, AZ; grandchildren Anthony Lillio and wife Luisa, Anita Louise Wilkens and husband Tom, Jennifer Lynn McElroy and husband Tim, Sean Johnson and wife Robin, Ronald Francis and wife Tammy, great grandchildren Anthony Jr, Matthew, James, Kaitlyn, Preston, Jessica, Shane, Devyn, Madison and Allie. He was preceded in by his son Ron, his wife Cathy and his 6 brother and sisters, Ronald, Louise,Margery, Douglas, Dorothy and Genevieve.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home
