Fred G. Marquardt, 87, passed away on October 8th, 2003 at Lake Hills Inn in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on July 3rd, 1916 in Sioux City, IowaFred moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 1 year ago from Canistota, SD. He was self employed for 50 years as a well driller in Canistota, SD.He is survived by daughters Maureen Oltmanns and Sharel Wieman both of Monroe, SD; brothers Walter and Butch Marquardt both of Denver, CO; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and loving companion Elaine Sundin of Lake Havasu City, AZ. Inurnment will take place at Canistota Cemetery in Canistota, South Dakota on Saturday, October 18th, 2003Contributions may be made in his name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O. Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ; 86405.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home
