Harriet M. Shannon, 80, passed away October 17, 2003 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born on July 16, 1923 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.Harriet moved to Lake Havasu 13 years ago from Mercedes, Texas. She worked for Government Civil Service as an Editorial Assistant in Redstone Arsenal in Alabama and Ft. Rucker, Alabama. Mrs. Shannon was also a proud veteran in the US Army during WWII, a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church, member of Eastern Star and First Commander of the American Legion Post 454 in Missouri.Harriet married her best friend, Warren on June 23, 1945 at St. Peters Evangelical & Reformed Church in St. Louis County, Missouri.She is survived by her husband, Warren; son, Warren R. Shannon of Lake Havasu; daughters, Patricia M. Shannon of Atlanta, Georgia and Kathleen M. Seguin and her husband John of San Diego, California; grandson, Erik M. Seguin of Florida; granddaughter, Nicole M. Seguin of Los Angeles, California; two great grandchildren and numerous cousins.She is preceded in by her parents, Harry C. and Hildegarde (Hilse) Robertson.The family will be holding private memorial services in her honor.Harriet will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
