Rose Christine Ward, 90, passed away October 20, 2003 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born to Jens & Rose (Klink) Tvenstrup on August 31, 1913 in Dazey, North Dakota.Rose made Lake Havasu her home 33 years ago, moving here from Bismarck, North Dakota where she was a secretary for the North Dakota Department of Vocational Rehabilitation for eight years. Prior to that, she was a secretary for the Bismarck Chamber of Commerce for 13 years.Rose was a proud graduate from Valley City High School, Valley City, North Dakota in 1931. She was also a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Lake Havasu.Rose's hobbies included golf, reading and bragging about her grandchildren.She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Linda Paulson of Phoenix, Arizona; brother Robert Tvenstrup of Anchorage, Alaska and four grandchildren, Scott Ward and his wife Jennifer of Chicago, Illinois, Lauren Warchus and her husband Matthew of New York City and London, Dawn Miller and her husband Shane of Sacramento, California and Amy Paulson of Berlin, Germany.She is preceded in by her beloved husband, Martin A. Ward and son, Denis Ward.A memorial services will take place on Friday, October 24, 11:00 AM at Mount Olive Lutheran Church. Pastor Tom Dunham officiate.The family request donations to be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association, Local Chapter. Checks may be made out to Interagency Respite Care, 1940 Mesquite Ave., Suite I, Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86403.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
