Pearl Levy, 77, passed away October 27, 2003 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born to David & Edna (Goldberg) Mendelsohn on June 8, 1926 in New York City, New York.Pearl moved to Lake Havasu 16 years ago from Long Island, New York.She was a member of the 8:00 am K-Mart Club and was a spokesperson for the Diabetes Council. She was also a member for the Mavis Davis & Pearl Wednesday Craft Club and they were always donating baby quilts to the Haven House and quilts to the nursing homes.Pearl is survived by her loving family, sons, Bernard Ira Levy of Lake Havasu and Michael Dana Levy of Santa Rosa, California; daughters, Sheryl Donna Roose of Lake Havasu and Karen Diane Marvin of Bend, Oregon; brother, Paul Mendelsohn of St. Cloud, Florida; sister, Harriett Jahss of Lake Havasu; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.She is preceded in by her beloved husband, Murray Leonard Levy.Funeral services will take place Thursday, October 30, 3:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Interment will follow the services at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.The family request donations to go the Haven House (for battered women), payable to Abuse Prevention, PO Box 1763, Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86405.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
