Obituary of Robert THOMSON

Robert Allen Thomson, 66, passed away October 29, 2003 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to John & Hazel (Hagerman) Tharp on July 14, 1937 in Los Angeles, CA.Mr. Thomson moved to Lake Havasu 13 years ago from Orange County, CA. He was a self employed upholsterer for many years. Six of those years he did work for Cheeta Boats in Lake Havasu.He loved the lake and went boating as often as he could. He especially loved speed boats. Robert was a World Class Diver from spring board and loved waterskiing. In the 1960's at Long Beach Marina, he attempted to break the world speed limit for waterskiing.Mr. Thomson is survived by his brother Ronald Tharp of Anaheim, CA and several children located in California.He will be dearly missed by everyone who had the opportunity of knowing him.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
