Harry Raymond Baughman, 76, passed away November 13, 2003 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born to Leonard & Esther (Laird) Baughman on April 22, 1927 in Blackrock, Arkansas.Harry and his wife, Dorothy moved to Lake Havasu City in 1978 from Oxnard, CA, where he was in the dry cleaning business for 30 years, after serving in the US Navy during WWII. Shortly after moving to Lake Havasu he started his own painting business by the name of "B & A Painting" which he ran for 18 years.Mr. Baughman was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Eagles Lodge here in Lake Havasu. He loved boating and was out on the lake as often as possible.He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Dorothy (Asher) Baughman; son, Derek Simms and his wife Debbie of Lake Havasu; daughters, Beverly Bigger of Ventura, CA, Janice Ball and her husband Cliff of Ventura, CA, Teri Simms of Lake Havasu; sisters, Elsie Treanor and her husband Don of Ventura, CA, Lovelia Patterson of Ventura, CA, Gloria Keller of Oklahoma City, OK; four grandchildren, Kelly Widerburg and her husband Russ of Camarillo, CA, Shawn King of Lake Havasu, Michael Ball of Ventura, CA, Colton Simms of Lake Havasu and numerous nieces and nephews.He is preceded in by his parents, Leonard and Pearl Baughman; two brothers, Louie and James "Bud" Baughman and one sister, Mary Hill.A memorial celebration will be held Saturday, November 22, 10:00 AM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel with Hospice Chaplain Rev. Steve Todd officiating. Inurnment will take place at Bardsdale Cemetery in Fillmore, CA.The family requests donations be made in his name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home
