Obituary of George Lloyd Meyer

George Lloyd Meyer, Jr., born July 7, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois, passed away in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on July 10, 2013, where he resided since 1974 after moving from Big Bear Lake, California. To my family and friends: I was not a rich man, but I had everything a man could ever want. I loved my family and I know they loved me. We were the best of friends and we did everything together. Some of my best memories were camping in the mountains with my family, laughing around the campfire, hunting with my sons and grandsons, and enjoying all of God's creations. The greatest decision I ever made was accepting Jesus Christ into my heart as a young man, and I raised my family centered on Christ. For those I have left behind, you can be where I am now, in this glorious place called Heaven. Accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and ask Him into your heart, and you too shall be rewarded. Life is just a passing moment, while Heaven is for eternity. Thank you to my loving family, I love you all more than you will ever know. George is survived by his children; Gary (Julie) Meyer, Donna Meyer-Zempich, Brad (Beth) Meyer, his grandchildren; Heidi Meyer, Deana Meyer, Kevin (Stephanie) Zempich, Jared (Lacy) Meyer, Brian (Brenda) Zempich, Crystal Meyer, and his great-grandchildren; Aaron and Brandon Zempich, Kayla Danielson, and McKenna Meyer.
