Lydia Brueckner Domroes, 95, passed away December 14, 2003 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to Otto & Bertha (Braun) Brueckner on August 17, 1908 in Milwaukee, WI.Lydia has been a resident of Lake Havasu for the past 33 years, moving here from Milwaukee where she worked for the John Oster Co. for 16 years as a marketing representative. After she retired in 1971, she moved to Lake Havasu City to be with her daughter. While here, she worked as a manager for the Tastee-Freeze Drive-In.Lydia belonged to the Lake Havasu Senior Center and the Stonebridge Christian Assembly, where she was a Sunday School teacher and known as "Grandma Lydia" to the children. She was also active in the Christian Womens' Ministries for many years.She is survived by her loving family, daughters, Lois A. Davis and her husband Steven of Lake Havasu and Gloria Muhich and her husband John of Milwaukee, WI; one sister, Edna Wiesner of West Bend, WI; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.Lydia is preceded in by her beloved husband, Richard, who passed away in 1970.Memorial services will be held at Stonebridge Christian Fellowship, Saturday, January 24, 11:00 AM with Pastor Richard Tatham officiating.The family request donations be made to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
