Fred John Kuerner, Jr. passed away at 58 years of age on July 6, 2015 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Margaret M. and Fred John Kuerner on April 12, 1957 in New York, NY. He was wed to Lorraine Faye Gassman on November 24, 1979 in Corpus Christi, TX; they were married for 35 beloved years. He served in the United States Coast Guards from 1976 to 1980. Fred worked for Campbell Boats for 30 years as a marine technician and had worked for Al's Outboard & Inboard Service for eight years. Throughout these years, he fostered many lasting, faithful relationships. Fred loved the mountains, camping, fishing, and NASCAR. Mostly, he cherished hunting and spending time with his family. There was nothing Fred wouldn't do for his family and friends. He will be dearly missed. Fred is survived by his parents, Margaret and Fred Kuerner of Lake Havasu City; wife, Lorraine F. Kuerner of Lake Havasu City; son, Christopher J. Kuerner of Chandler; daughter, Jennifer S. Kuerner (fiancé, Nicholas) of Phoenix; brothers, Robert N. Kuerner (Tansy) of Williams, Scott C. Kuerner (Denise) of Lake Havasu City; sister, Denise R. Kuerner of Lake Havasu City; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on Sunday, July 12th at 2:00 PM. Donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
