Obituary of Frank George Mooney

FRANK GEORGE MOONEY Frank George Mooney passed away July 13, 2013 at the age of 85 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born December 20, 1927 in Lansing, Michigan to Frank Mooney and Helen (Parker). Frank graduated from Ohio State University in 1951 with a Bachelor degree in Industrial Management and Associate Degrees in Business Law and Finance. He completed the ROTC program at Ohio State and served in the Ohio National Guard until 1952 he was also employed for Ford Motor from 1951 - 1959 completed their personnel training program in 1953 and served as a Production Control Manager at the Wixon, MI Assembly Plant. Joined General Portland Inc. in 1959 and moved to E. Lansing, MI and Ft. Wayne IN as a Distribution Manager and Sales Manager later retiring in 1989 as a Contract Sales Manager La Farge Corp. He enjoyed playing golf and bowling. Frank was a life member of BPOE, Plymouth, MI a Charter Member of FO Eagles of Lake Havasu and the Moose in Kingman, AZ a past member Society of Automotive Engineers Lions Club and the Knights of Columbus. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, JoAnn of Lake Havasu City, AZ; daughter Sharon Mooney of Lake Havasu City, AZ; granddaughter Victoria; 2 great-grandchildren; brother Douglas Mooney (Lynn) and brother-in-law George Langenderfer (Sally). Preceded in death by his parents; two sons Michael and Geoffrey and grandson Trey. Donations can be made in Frank's name to Hospice of Havasu 365 S.
