Obituary of Shirley COLEY

Shirley R. Coley, 66, passed away January 7, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to Calvin & Lillian (De Bolt) Barnes on December 9, 1937 in Sweetwater, TX.Shirley made Lake Havasu her home 12 years ago, moving here from Green River, WY. She had various jobs throughout her life, the latest was working as a cook at JoAnn's restaurant in Lake Havasu.Shirley had a special devotion for animals, especially John's dog, Lucky and her cat, Charlie. She enjoyed cooking, the outdoors and being on or around the lake. She always gave a lot of love to her kids and grandkids.Shirley is survived by her loving family, son, John Riddle of Lake Havasu; daughters, Ginger Pool of El Cajon, CA and Barbara Vogt of Rock Springs, WY; brother, James A. Barnes of MO; grandchildren, Erick, Jim, Rob, Jacob, Stacy, Crystal and Jeremy; great grandchildren, Taylor, Dillon, Brody, Kristin and Drake; nephews, Robert, Jimbo, Preston and Billy. She is also survived by her companion, Robert Riddle of Lake Havasu, whom she was reunited with after 17 years. She was blessed to be joined as one with her first love again.Shirley is preceded in by her parents, Calvin & Lillian Barnes; one brother, Curt Barnes and nephew, Marty.Beyond the world as we know it,there is a field of stars where we will allmeet again and never have to say "good-bye".Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
