Obituary of Frances DARLINGTON

Frances Olive Darlington, 87, passed away on January 11, 2004 at her daughters residence in Lake Havasu City, Az. She was born on October 28, 1916 in Chicago, IL.Frances moved to Lake Havasu City, Az; 25 years ago from Griffith, IN. She was a member of St. Michael's United odist Church, Havasu Regional Medical Center Hospital Auxilary for 23 years, a member of the Kiwaniannes and was the community Drive coordinator for 12 ½ years.She is survived by her loving daughter Ardis Phelps of Lake Havasu City, AZ; grandchildren Shari Jazyk of Columbus, OH; Dana Phelps of Mohave Valley; Dawn Phelps of Chandler, AZ; Kristyn Phelps of Portland, ME, great granddaughter Jessica Underwood of Columbus, OH; and 3 nieces. She was preceded in by her husband Melvin Charles Darlington in 1991 and by her daughter Letitia Jazyk.A memorial service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Thursday, January 15, 2004 at 6:00 PM with Rev. Richard Rounds officiating.In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in her name to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 5006, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5006Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
