Richard H. Mayer, 62 years, born in Milwaukee, WI on November 21, 1941, passed away January 17, 2004 of cancer.Richard lived in Milwaukee, WI as a truck driver for 30 years, then retired and moved to Lake Havasu in 1992. He belonged to the Aerie 4299 Fraternal Order of Eagles, the Teamsters Union and was a lifetime member of North American Hunting Association.Richard is survived by his son, Bryan Mayer and his wife Beth; daughter Christina Mayer; granddaughters, Kymberlee and Allyson of Cadott, WI; sister, Barbara Berlin of Ashland City, TN; aunt, Lucille Svoma of Phoenix; nieces, Yvonne Kaminski of Lake Havasu and Laurie Svoma of Phoenix; nephews, Kenny and Nickolas Kaminski of Lake Havasu, Rodney Svoma of Phoenix and Ronald Svoma of Las Vegas and his beloved ex-wife, Carol Mayer of Janesville, WI.He was preceded in by his mother, Angie Fritzsinger and father, Herman Mayer.Richard could always make people laugh and was the one with all the jokes. He will be sorely missed by everyone.Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 21, 10:00 AM at Lake Havasu Memorial GardensArrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
