L.V. "Rob" Robinson Rob Robinson, 75, passed away on January 22, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, Az. He was born on September 24, 1928 in Ucon, Idaho. Rob moved to Lake Havasu City, Az; 5 years ago from Blackfoot, Id. He was a sales manager for Valley Equipment in Blackfoot, Id; which is a farm implement business for 33 years. Rob served proudly in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed gardening, playing cards, bowling and crossword puzzles. He was an avid golfer and loved to dance. One of his greatest joys was watching the grandkids play sports. Rob was a life member of the Elks Lodge, Eagles, V.F.W. and Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was everybody's friend. His smile would light up the whole room. He is survived by his loving wife Eva Maureen Robinson of Lake Havasu City, Az; daughters Darby Pilkington and husband Paul of Roy, Ut; Kelley Mansanarez and husband Mitch of Blackfoot, Id; Tracy Ogden and husband Stacy of Layton, Ut; brother Almy Robinson and wife Shirley of Blackfoot, Id; sisters Reva Mason and husband Sylvan of St. Anthony, In; Norma Gneiting of Idaho Falls, Id; Ann Harrington of Lewiston, Id; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in by his parents Wallace and Lavinda Robinson, first wife Adah Laverne "Wells", infant daughter Lindy Robinson, brother-in-laws Gene Gneiting and Frank Harrington Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2004 at Hawker-Hill Funeral Home in Blackfoot, Id. from 7 to 9 PM. Funeral services will be held at Rose 1st Ward, Rose Rd, Blackfoot, Id; on Wednesday, January 28, 2004 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Grove City Cemetery in Blackfoot, Id. God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be,So He put his arms around you, and whispered "Come to Me."With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away.Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest.God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
