Obituary of Verna CARLTON

Verna Perry Carlton, 102, passed away January 25, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to Charles and Mabel (LaBoyteaux) Perry on August 25, 1901 in Greenville, PA.Verna has been a longtime resident of Lake Havasu for 34 years, moving here from Harbor Creek Township, PA. She worked for the Best Western Motel in Lake Havasu for a few months as a reservation clerk and was a member of the Havasu Chapter #61 Order of the Eastern Star.Verna is survived by her loving family, daughter, S. Davee Farver of Lake Havasu; grandchildren, Kristie Lee Belk, Richard Earl Farver and Bonnie Anne McGill; great grandchildren, Jerome L. Bender Jr., Chara Michele Bender, Travis Farver, Denys Farver, Heather Marie Farver, Wendy McGill, Sarah McGill and Amy Jo McGill and one great great grandson, Derek Farver.A memorial service will be held at Community Presbyterian Church, Friday, January 30, 2:00 PM with Pastor David Bybee officiating.Verna was a great lady who loved her family and friends and was adored by all who knew her.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
