Max Farland Shaw, 87, passed away February 1, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Mack and Eula (Adams) Shaw on September 10, 1916 in Westbrook, TX.Max has been a resident of Lake Havasu for 27 years, moving here from Gallup, NM. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad as a conductor in Winslow, AZ for 34 years.Mr. Shaw was a proud veteran in the US Army Air Corps during WWII. He was a member of the Masons Alcatraz Lodge #244 in Oakland, CA for 50 years.Max will be dearly missed by his friend Elaine Belknap and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2004, 11:00 AM at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. The Havasu Lodge #64 F & AM will conduct the services with the VFW Post #9401 leading in full military honors.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
