Edward Patrick Hamilton, known to his friends and family as "Pat", passed away on February 18, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born to Edward E. Hamilton and Martha Lee "Heitmann" Hamilton on August 12, 1941 in South Gate, California.Pat worked as a truck driver for 35 years for C.R. England & Sons Inc. in W. Valley City, Utah and recently was a night auditor for various hotels in the Lake Havasu City area. He proudly served in the Air Force during Vietnam. Pat moved to Arizona 4 years ago from Pineville, Louisiana. He is a member of the VFW in Louisiana and visited the senior center to spend time on the computers. He volunteered during the holidays to provide meals to the less fortunate.Pat is survived by his adoring wife of 24 years Bonnie Hamilton of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, a son Patrick John Hamilton of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, daughters Jodi M. Harrill of Anaheim Hills, California, Teresa L. Powers of Temecula, California, sisters Roberta L. Courselle of Stanbury, Missouri, Jacquelyn M. Gehres of Garden Grove, California and 2 grandchildren Myrissa and Justyn.He was truly loved by his family and will be greatly missed.A Memorial service will be held on Saturday February 21, 2004 at Lakeview Community Church at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Dale Ray officiating. Full military honors provided by the V.F.W. and American Legion.In lieu of flowers a contribution can be made in Pat's name to the American Heart Association 1280 S. Parker Rd., Denver, Colorado 80231 or to the American Diabetes Association 8125 N. 23rd Ave #222, Phoenix, Arizona 85021-4961.Arrangements were entrusted to the Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
