IN LOVING MEMORYMary Lou Jotblad, 74, passed away February 19, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Born in Webster, Wisconsin on November 14, 1929, she moved to Torrance, California in 1962 where she raised her family and has been a resident of Lake Havasu City, Arizona for the past 24 years. Mary Lou will be remembered for her courageous life having battled the affects of polio, contracted at the age of eighteen, followed by multiple sclerosis, diagnosed in her thirties. In spite of the disabling outcome of these diseases, her biggest complaint throughout this time was the 110°+ heat. Recently referred to as "My Hero", she was truly amazed at having earned such a title. Mary Lou is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Clayton; her children, Gary of Laguna Niguel, California, Sue of Boulder, Colorado, Barb Ralphs of Huntington Beach, California, David of Lake Havasu and their families including ten grandchildren: Karrie, Heather, Sharon, Melissa, Allison, Jackie, Trevor, Courtney, Eric, Chris and one great-grandchild, Ethan; her brothers Bob, Harold and Marvin Peterson and sister, Bess Arneson. Her enduring positive attitude and love of those whose lives she touched will remain with all who knew her. The Jotblad family wishes to thank the home health care professionals and staff for their loving care of Mary Lou.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.God saw you were getting tiredAnd a cure was not to beSo He put His arms around youAnd whispered "Come to me".A golden heart stopped beating,Hard working hands now rest.God broke our hearts to prove to usHe only takes the best.
