Obituary of Nancy ROY

Nancy Louise Roy, 63, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2004 with her husband of 36 years at her side. She was born March 9, 1940 in Logan, OH.She moved to California in 1967 and married Dan Roy in 1968. They lived in Stockton, CA for 10 years and moved to Sonora, CA, where she worked for the City of Sonora for 15 years as a secretary of the building department. They moved to Lake Havasu City 5 years ago and she worked for Payless Shoe Store. Nancy loved people and was called "mom" by many.Nancy is survived by a loving husband, Dan Roy; son, Todd Roy, daughter-in-law, Nadine Roy, all of Lake Havasu City; two sisters, Bonnie Morris of Circleville, OH and Lucille Blair of Logan, OH; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.Nancy was preceded in by her mother, Edna L. Kerns; father, Louis E. Hutchinson of Logan, OH; four brothers and three sons, Rickey Straits, Greg Straits and Charles Roy.Nancy's wishes were to have no services and will be buried in Stockton, CA at a later date.The family request donations to go to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
