Obituary of Helen SHEFFY

Helen V. Sheffy of Lake Havasu City, AZ; passed away on March 19, 2004 at the age of 74. She was born on September 25, 1929 in Putnam County, Missouri.Helen moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 19 years ago from Pinedale, WY. She worked for 10 years at St. Vincent's De Paul of Lake Havasu City, AZ. Helen enjoyed gardening, working, playing the piano and being outdoors. She also loved to draw and could draw anything freehand .She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years Ivan "Chic" Sheffy of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sons Kenneth Badget of Cowley, WY; Michael Badget of Honolulu, HI; Greg Sheffy of Vancouver, WA; daughters Sharon Eckhardt of Guernsey, WY; Elizabeth Wilford of Diamondville, WY; Linda Sheffy of Cheyenne, WY; Theresa Grove of Highlands Ranch, CO; Vanessa Reynolds of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Lisa Gillette of Newport, WA; brothers James Butler of Ranchester, WY; Don Butler of Wilsonville,OR; Jack Butler of Noxon, MT; brother in law Ben Sheffy of Raleigh, NC; sisters Joan Jolovich of Washington, UT; Georgia Morris of Bethesda, MD; Mary Lynn Anderson of Terry, MT; Norma Millard of Cowley, WY; sister in law Mary Treml of Luxemburg, WI; 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at 10:00 AM with Father Fidelis Igwenwanne officiating.The family request that donations be made in her name to St. Vincent's De Paul or Salvation Army.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
