Obituary of Lois E Thompson

Lois E. Thompson of Lake Havasu City passed away February 22, 2016 at the age of 97 at Havasu Nursing Center. Lois Riemcke was born July 15, 1918 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of William M. and Hazel Mae (Fry) Riemcke. She married Eldon D. Thompson June 21, 1950 in Davenport, Iowa. He died December 7, 1978. Lois is survived by her daughter Judy and her husband Archie Markham, grandson Todd Markham, granddaughter Sarah and her husband Cory Hall, all of Lake Havasu City; Granddaughter Leanne Cloud and her husband Kevin, Great granddaughters Keitan and Karli and great grandson Kevin Jr. all of Las Vegas, Nevada. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and one grandson Gregory Dippel. She loved her family, friends and her dog Chico dearly and felt blessed that they were a part of her life. The family would like to give special thanks to Havasu Nursing Center for the extraordinary care they provided to Lois and especially to her favorite nurse Kathy. By request of Lois, there will be no funeral services held in Havasu. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
