Tamara C. Boomer, 56, passed away April 28, 2004 in Parker, AZ. She was born on July 14, 1948 in Loma Linda, CA.Tamara has resided in Mesa, AZ for the past 34 years, part of the time she spent at her home in Parker. For 3 years, she was a ranger for the Department of Forestry in Phoenix and she also worked for Federal Express for 16 years.Tamara is survived by her husband Richard Boomer. She is the loving mother to Rick Johnson of Chandler, AZ, Jesse Robinson of Saratoga, FL, Rick Boomer of Phoenix, AZ and Cindy Boomer, also of Phoenix. She is also survived by her parents, James C. Rash of Kingman, AZ and Colleen L. Rash of Scottsdale, AZ; brother David J. Rash and his wife Pandy of Riverside, CA; aunts, Faye Williams and her husband Bob of Lake Havasu, Lou Reid and her husband Bill of Sun City West, AZ, Irene King and her husband Grady of Cove, AR; uncle, George Nelson and his wife Emma of Yuma, AZ. To her dear friends, "your kindness will never be forgotten": Patty Morrison of Parker Dam, AZ, Mary Lou Andrews of Phoenix, AZ, Mary Szmutko of Phoenix, AZ, Diane DeLorenzo of Texas and John Dietz of Colorado. She will also be missed by her numerous cousins.Tamara was preceded in by her grandparents, James and Olie Rash, George and Alma DeMoss; aunts, Milly Hoffmier, Rusty Nelson and Sue Olney; uncle, Lloyd Rash and Kenneth DeMoss.Tamara never knew a stranger or turned away an animal. She loved to fish and ski, and spent part of her life on the Colorado River. She will be remembered always as our sweet who so loved life. You will be the butterfly that lands on our shoulder.In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations go in Tamara's name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
