Rosealie A. (Aldridge) Rock, 64, resident of Cypress, CA, passed away, Thursday, May 6, 2004, at her home in Cypress.Rosealie was born on June 20, 1939, to Ray and Sophia (Augustyn) Aldridge, in Gay, MI. After her birth the family moved to Lake Linden, MI. She attended Holy Rosary grade school and Lake Linden High School, graduating with the class of 1957. She attended the College of St. Scholastica, in Duluth, MN, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in elementary education. After graduation she held teaching positions in Duluth, Gilbert and Robinsdale, MN and Cheyenne, WY.She was married to David Rock in St. Ann's Catholic Church, in Cable, WI on June 20, 1964.Preceding her in were her parents; and her brother Donald Aldridge.Surviving are her husband David; two daughters, Colleen Terese (Barry) Cummins of Cypress, CA, Marcia Rae (Audie) Johnsen of Temecula, CA; one son, Edward (Sonya) Rock of Garden Grove, CA; two grandchildren, Gavin D. Johnsen and Garrett D. Johnsen of Temecula, CA; one sister-in-law, Mary C. Aldridge of Sun Lakes, AZ; one brother-in-law, Rayomnd (Darlyene) Rock of Salina, KS; six nieces, Tamera Holman of Chandler, AZ, Beth Sawyer of Chandler, AZ, Sophia Aldridge of Phoenix, AZ, Nannette (AJ) Wilberding of Carmel, IN, Vickie (Jeff) Reb of Arlington, VA, Lori (Patrick) Crotzer of Norfold, VA; five nephews, Ray (Mary) Aldridge of Kingman, AZ; Daniel Aldridge of Sun Lakes, AZ, Andrew (Jacque) Aldridge of Flagstaff, AZ; Michael (Kristen) Aldridge of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Steven (Belinda) Rock of Salina, KS; along with numerous grand nieces and nephews.Arrangements are being handled by the Heritage Memorial Services Funeral Home in Huntington Beach, CA. The Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, 12 May 2004 at 8:30 AM in St. Irenaeus Catholic Church in Cypress, CA. The Rev. Fr. Pat Rudolph will officiate. Burial will take place at Good Shepherd Family Cemetery in Huntington Beach, CA.
