Obituary of Ardis Mae Matson

Ardis Mae Hamilton-Matson born in Greensburg, PA on July 12, 1936 to Thomas L. Hamilton and Margaret E. Kaylor-Hamilton went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 19, 2015 just one week after celebrating her 79th birthday. Surrounded by her family she succumbed to an illness she had been diagnosed with just eight months earlier. Ardis was preceded in passing by her father, mother and brother. Also preceding her was her husband of more than 50 years Reverend C. Albert Matson. Surviving are her daughters Reva J. Matson-Sorber, Carol Ann Matson and her son (in-law) David W. Sorber, two grandchildren Jennifer Jean Sorber-Parker, Christine Elaine Sorber-Creek as well as three great grandchildren-John, George and Dustin Parker all of Kingman, AZ. The family celebrated her home-going on Sunday, July 19th at the Sorber residence. No further services will be held. Interment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Park in Dallas, PA at a future date.
